Men damaging their brains for your entertainment is tragic whether you want to acknowledge it or not

So tell those men to pick another vocation. I feel bad for kids who get seriously hurt while playing the sport, I don't think I could ever sign a waiver letting my kid play, but I can't feel sorry for grown men who have played the sport and still decide to make it a profession. I'm all for the league making the game safer, and I appreciate the fact that these men have families, but don't come to me with the sob stories

I'll start caring what my favorite athletes are going through when they start sharing some of their salary/endorsement deals with me. They're salaries are basically funded by our fanship and how dedicated we are to watching those games every Sunday. These Superstars get paid more in a year than most people make in 30, I wish them the best but they don't get any sympathy from me
