The 718
After a bit of a culture shock transitioning from FL and getting used to the interface, this shyt is :banderas: especially the beta of the new software. I still import the WAV files into FL Studio to really fine tune the mixing and sequences but otherwise it's so much better than what I'd been doing, especially now that I'm transitioning out of being a point-and-click nikka. First complete beat I've made with it:

The 718
dope beat. For drum settings, do 1/16, swing at 54 and timing correct at 100. That gives you a more loose feel.
I actually turned timing correct completely off lmao and set the swing to something like 65. The metronome always throws me off when I'm doing the drums because I like to do the hi-hats slightly behind the beat. Easier for me when I turn off the click track and just tap the drums to the rhythm of the sample

If you like your hats to have a loose feel, try messing with the sample layer offset, you can get really swingy hats and kicks like that before you even program anything

If you've been using fl for a long time, it's more of finding how to do what you've been doing in fl on your mpc or in akai. Once you've done that using the expanded features and exclusive shyt that akai brings to the table.

It's a conduit for you to express your self.

Congrats on it, it's nice.

Bruh... that beat is dope. It has that chill early/mid 90's vibe.
