I’m just now starting the third season and its been a hell of a journey so far. Think they’re ending it at a perfect spot.
I read My Brilliant Friend on vacation in late September, and it truly was an incredible book. When I got home, I read the next two in the series, and will be reading the fourth this weekend. They are brutal, devastating stories of poverty, repression, misogyny, violence, sex, power, politics.
The show is a little muted to me, the sets a little too perfect, but it is very good tv, and worth watching, maybe even more so than if you haven't read the novels.
BugsbunnyNo.gifIt's an excellent show in all ways, but it's so damn melodramatic. I am still on E4. It just stresses me out to get through an episode. Everyone screaming and ranting in Italian.
can they have one day without an existential crisis
