The fukk you mean a CaC school?

You throwing smileys up there that get you daps from Buckeye fans and thats it.

What does this kid going to a top school, to get a top education, and a top chance at having a chance at the NFL.. have to do with improving HBCU's?

Why am I even replying to that dumb ass reply of yours? :snoop:

All he said was he preferred parents pushed their kids to real professions. Having millions of kids fighting for 1500 NFL roster spots is :skip:

The odds of developing CTE is extremely high too.

It aint the 1990s anymore. We not Ricky in Boyz in the Hood. We can study to get into college like everyone else and have it paid for without having to incur permanent brain damage :skip:

What did the post have to do with the NFL?

Most kids arent making the league and if football is a path for kids in the hood to getting a great education, why are you finding a problem with it?

You dont even know the kids and their lives to be speaking on some “this aint Boyz in the hood” trash.

Beat it

how you figure they're getting a great education, because of the school name?

they're getting thrown in classes with kids on another level of preparation and in most cases academic talent, while they have the equivalent of a time-consuming, physically taxing part time job without pay

academically good schools are probably the worst deal around in terms of scouting attention, lifestyle and ease of academics

I figure that because my boy has seen six of his kids walk down the aisle with Ivy league degrees. You cant play for my boy if you aren’t academically sound.

Some of you find it more important to tear down the possibilites of these kids being raised on the right track to support your talking points.

I wonder if yall care more for your talking poInts than the kids being serviced.

Degree always beats no degree but you brought up sending athletes to Ivies like it's the same thing as sending regular academic kids

He said we need more scientists and doctors and you basically said well these kids get to be around many future scientists and doctors

Any football player going to an Ivy isnt just being “around.” You have to be academically sound in order to get in, regardless of playing a sport.

Thats why i dont like rocking with you fukk boys. You have this way of tearing down black people believing youre uplifting them.

Look at you, all emotional because someone disagrees with you. And you like 40 years old so you should be beyond that behavior at this point.

Not everyone wants their kid getting CTE.

And yes, black kids should be getting pushed to become doctors, engineers, programmers, lawyers and entrepreneurs instead because there’s a higher chance of success than having your kid chasing sports dreams that hardly ever work out. Indians, Chinese and Whites aren’t pushing their boys into sports and last time I checked they have all the wealth so who’s really winning? Did I mention CTE already? Yea. That too :rudy: A black single mom just sent her two kids to Stanford and Harvard on full scholarships so stop acting like kids gotta have a jump shot to go to college :rudy: There’s nothing wrong with what dude said but you jumped down his throat like a herb. Why you even making this thread? If he’s nice, the world will find out about him anyway. He don’t need you blasting his face on forums. You just seeking attention and validation from strangers. Which is clown shyt too.

:wtf:

What if the kid truly loves football AND loves to study and broaden his mind?

Why can’t you guys grasp that? I’m confused.

This whole post is one long opinion. Which is fine. We all got them. But don’t pass it off as fact.

Why can’t he play football AND be a doctor? Or a scientist? If the kid loves football, and wants to play.. should they not let him?

It’s the kids life. :mindblown:
