That first throw...
Willie Simmons been developing guys at FAMU and when he was at PV. Jackson State is intriguing due to their system and Shedeur will be a true Junior when Pops as a freshman. Hue Jackson is always intriguing. Alabama A&M has been developing QBs as good as anyone in the FCS and better than a lot of FBS schools.Im talking that HBCU shyt to his dad.

He definitely has high end talent. The FBS for QBs especially at P5s is so high that you can be talented enough and be trash and then land in the right spot and win the heisman. It's a lot of development he as will others need at the next level but what he has in bunches is high end talent and he's fundamentally sound since I've seen him as a kid. I'll rate him a 4 star, size kinda hurts him but he's also tough mentality and has that dog which is critical in terms of kids who success compared to those who fail. At the top level, so many of these kids are extremely talented. Some just haven't came into their own. Pop's has but I would like to see him add more size.
As quick as he is, his top end spped isn't world class as say Kyler Murray. He doesn't quite have the size of Pat White but I see a lot more potential. Needs to be closer to 210s ish. Could be a Russell Wilson type and I think it's very possible and a realistic goal for him but he's gonna have to work his ass off. Russ wasn't even considered draftable till he transferred for Wisconsin. When you are that size, it takes scouts ALONG time to buy in. Size is everything
At the end of the day, his height is good enough to conquer college. I hope hes good enough to have Sunday discussions one day.Nah thats old thinking.
Size aint a driving force like that no more.
Brees, Russ, Kyler, Tua, Bryce, even tho he's trash Mayfield aren't tall. You just gotta know how to play in the pocket and know your throwing lanes he'll be fine.
Being in shotgun all the time kinda killed that. It gives shorter guys a lot of help.
He needs to shorten it. Ive long been saying this to his dad. The Ohio State coach was working with him on it.Throwing motion is more of an issue than his size. Hope he goes to a school that will give him a real opportunity to shine.
