this doesn't even surprise me...most brehs i know in finance/IB have zero game. they're basically either strong-arming chicks with the allure of money/financial security or straight up fukk with high-priced escorts on the side.

seems like my generation is just infatuated with the hustle. idk if the solution to avoid getting finessed is to just marry a high-powered, career woman or only get married in a place with huge emphasis on family structure/reasonable marriage laws.

They're so socially awkward. The traders like the wolf of wall street ones are usually more social and live good lives, clubbing, girls, drinking the maths geeks in M&A, DCM, ECM and the real 'maths' sides of banking are usually socially awkward nerds. My boss is SICK at maths, highly talented, very very smart and is one of the best mathematicians and economists I have met. The real mathematical and technical ones are usually social awkward and borderline Aspergers.

I am in the 'maths' side and none of my co-workers are cool at all, all very socially awkward. The traders do live really crazy tho like Wolf of wall street I've been out with them a few nights and couldn't hack it.

I'm happy to be in the maths/technical side of banking tho, it's more challenging but all my coworkers are socially inept and not people I'd be friends with. So fukking lame.

I don't get how someone can be able to navigate elite circles and get ivy league MBA's climb the ranks at top global investment banks but be SO stupid at the same time. He doesn't have ANY street smarts. These men can get to MD level at places like Goldman and have been in their little upper middle class circle with NO awareness of scams.

That building up their trust shyt is called the "Girlfriend experience", something I'd assume you're privy to in some respect even if the most you've seen of that shyt is simps looking to hug/kiss strippers in the damned club on some "You do that just for me, right?" shyt. And the women take advantage of that shyt (As they should, I mean, hey) and dip, leaving these dudes in really bad emotional places.

The fact that she was actively playing the part doesn't surprise me 'cause it's only in the movies they portray chicks of this manner (Dude in the pic is a prime example) getting ignored and blatantly used by these girls before the time is up. Money well earned.

As for how these dudes can climb the top in the corporate world and still become food for simple chicks with makeup, eye winks and a few blowjobs; They never learned how to pull and got caught up in a career that gave them easy access to money and that was their one pitch (A Fastball) they never learned to throw offspeed shyt, curves, sliders, knuckles (IE - charm women, trick women and use 'em, get women to like 'em ALONG with their money) nah, they were always Johns, got older and became Johns who wanted a woman to hold in their 50's after they nutted. It's sad in a sense, but these type of dudes really just yearning for that affection, man. I remember one time I was in a strip club stateside and this one chick pretty much dragged me by the wrist into the champagne room 'cause she saw an old simp that been chasing her ever since she started working that club. She gave me the whole run down, well off, investment banker, access to money etc, with little to NO confidence in chasing women, something we both deduced came from him not developing them skills when he was younger, paying for it exclusively and now in the market to hook a trophy wife on some mail order shyt.

They come from and stay in money, they'd be alright, fukk 'em.

this why it's so critical to build confidence in yourself and learn some game. really no different than professional athletes who get taken to the cleaners by the instagram thots. they think the money and fame can substitute for having any real substance to attract a woman
