Waka/Gucci changed the sound of ATL if we’re being honest…

Right around 2011-2012, the sound started to change and Gucci started being the 50 Cent of ATL.

Waka was making drill music before it became a thing and brought back the grittiness of trap music.


All we needed was Lil Jon behind the boards.

The stupid fruity swag era was done anyways.

They dropped the ball on Yung LA more. His album never came out thanks to T.I and his legal issues

At the time he should have been becoming a star, the city turned from a party city to a wanna be Chicago gamgbang type city.

We got hype off regular ass music like this in the clubs


Now this is what gets the crowd hype :francis:

You kinda got it reversed because Gucci/Waka were the main influence on Chicago and what became drill music

So it's reasonable that they had the same impact on ATL
