My ancestry DNA Results (ADOS)

About a month ago, I was was able to connect a family member with his lost daughter (long story). Through close matches she(daughter) contacted me and told me she was trying to find her pops. Her mother passed away some time ago and told her bits about her real possible father, From her description of what she was told, I couldnt match anyone near that description but the few people I narrowed it to(based on location at that time), 1 actually knew her mom. Long story short, they've (Biological Father and Daughter)met 2x since, I've met her and theyve taken DNA test to confirm. If it wasn't for ancestry, this would of never happened.

They really are. Luckily theyre only separated by 6 hours. Thats 30 plus years of separation. My Uncle told me he's still shocked by it all. He was 19, in job corps, went home to the islands, got caught up with the hurricane Hugo and never returned to Atlanta. She was born 7 months after the hurricane. Mother snd Father wasnt together, it just happened. She had no clue of her caribbean side.

ethnicity, nationality, language etc are all social construct

DNA does not GAF about anyone of that, it will always trace you back to ur origins
your sons will inherit your y-chromosome just as you did from your father
for thousands of years to come, nothing will change.

I’ve heard somewhere online that some of the first waves of captured Africans to be brought to the American Colonies were from the Islamic civilizations and settlements in West Africa where the Songhai Empire used to be.

@IllmaticDelta got some very interesting notes on how that Islamic influence fused into the DNA of ADOS musical culture...which explains why traditionally, the guitar is the king of instruments in ADOS culture.
