MP3 is better than Flac files? Do you know how shytty MP3 files are? Even 320 bit MP3 files sound like shyt compared to Flac.

to be honest it's hard to differenciate flac from 320 if you don't have a trained ear. I still have a audiophile player (cowon plenue d2) and I put flac on it with the albums I like. I have like a hundred cd's but I stop purchased them because of lack a space and money. The last cd I bought were bad and off the wall because I couldn't find them on flac. I have a flac software to convert cd's to flac

set up is important too. Since I listen to a lot of rap I need good restitution of bass so I like intras like jabra elite 75 t. I would like to try the sony's wf1000xm4

Someone in my family pays $8 a month so 5 people can listen to whatever album they want.. It's basically paying $1.25/month since you can share it with family.

compact disc was never king it was a default winner.

if it's so great then why did vinyl make a resurgence? it's def better than compressed digital formats.

yes bluetooth is not capable of hitting true peak listening quality and i still use wired headphones as a result.

vinyl def sounds better.
Some of these stores definitely jumped on the vinyl trend because they saw that they can charge you mad money for this wack shyt that’s out now… not to mention the classic albums. It should be a crime how much they charge for this weak ass music. I be seeing Lil Uzi albums and stuff like it being resold for 15 or better and I wonder who tf would buy that on vinyl? I definitely see what you’re saying OP and I agree. I’ll add this though… there’s mad albums and singles that I own that you can’t find on streaming.. That ms the benefit of having physical music to me. It’s why I wasn’t stressing the whole De La Soul thing.. I got all them albums on cd. I don’t own the ones that are on Spotify other than the grind date. The sound quality thing is 100% facts though. I do appreciate steaming putting me up on artists though.

No one is selling physical media anymore. The old download sites have been sniped or seized by the Feds. You want an artist's library without having to dig, then Spotify it is.
Go to the goodwill or Salvation Army. You can find great music there. I found an unsealed Atliens album there and I still don’t know why or how.

The thing is, get you high quality headphones and your music will sound great.

On the flip side, if the recording isn't high quality audio, the high quality headphones make it sound worse

What headphones do you use?

The biggest problem since streaming has overtaken cds is the industry pushes 2 minute McDonald pop songs.

Artist create singles that can be streamed in countless playlist and are short enough with out being skipped with being genre netural . 20 years ago artist created cohesive full length albums that would have to be mix mastered and printed. Its really hard to put into words. But the product being sold was more thoughtful. In 2021 artist can put out music almost as soon as its done in the studio.

Yeah 2001 sounds good as hell, but I also played my copy of Big K.R.I.T. K.R.I.T. Wuz Here and that shyt thumped hard as well. It's like my sound system was fukking steroids with the CDs and regular as hell with the streaming music. It also comes down to mastering albums that shyt matters a lot.

I used Spotify for years, until a few months back I started buying and adding to my music collection again. CDs definitely sound better quality when compared to streaming services i.e Spotify, Apple etc. I’ve never used Tidal but recently switched to Apple and that shyt sounds better than Spotify when streaming on my system :manny:

Sound sound sound
I own that version

The guy who did it posted it online for free

Besides that, there are tons of officially released albums by tons of artists that arent streaming anywhere at all

so what does this have to do with paying for cds being better than paying for streaming? :what:
