Gotcha I don't know of composer's that in the gaming industry, but if they do that they may sample a drum or a riff or whatever and make something totally unique sounding. But that DBZ Yuji Yamamoto guy literally plagiarized the shyt he only added a few drums, base or snyth, kinda reminds me of these wannabe producers on soundcloud that sample a song from the 80's looping the track then slowing down the track and adding simple drums instead of taking out elements making something new.

Super Robot Wars K had music that was ripped shamelessly out of Chrono Trigger and Lufia 2.





Still shocked that Square Enix didn't sue but Bandai Namco publicly apologized for it and the composer most likely got fired.

Oh shyt, this mustn't have not been on Squaresoft's/Enix's radar that shyt was clearly plagiarized. The only thing that is different about Super Robot Wars K is the composition is not compressed so it sounds clearer basically it sounds like what Lufia 2 was supposed to sound like if there was a re-released in the late 2000's.

LOL I laughed when I saw the thumbnail in the vid in my head I was saying "Looks like we've found Kairi_Irving"

I know the theme of Tokyo Extreme came out in the early 2000's(2000 or 2001) after Stree Fighter Ex Plus Alpha. However, I've read that the original guitar riff originates from some old 80's shows and apparently other older games have used that sample guitar riff.

LOL what are you talking about google won't find anything on gaming compositions. I've known about the similarities of these theme's years ago. No offense you probably played games and paid no attention to the theme. You just simply have a low attention spam or lastly you've only played a few games
