As usual it's pretty much impossible to find production credits for a Soul Council release this early, but I got them all except for the final track.
EDIT: It's Kash.

Album is solid off 1st listen, nothing really wack outside of rapsody and maybe that video game beat, not sure how much i'll replay this if at all but def some dope production and Murs knows how to stick to a topic not just rap random bullshyt
My thoughts too. At this point they've done so many projects though that they all started running together for me around the time they did The Final Adventure (which now is two albums ago)
:heh:

I think that probably was a good time to pull the plug on the series, but then they dropped Brighter Daze which I liked definitely more than Sweet Lord and probably more than Fornever too. It was a smart move to bring in the Soul Council on this. 9th surprisingly produced no more than 4 joints on this.

Also Murs is the king of walking the line between being on some borderline sappy shyt in regards to women while also being the most graphic sexual rapper I know of. Unicorn Glitter is :mjlol: and :banderas: at the same time. Lots of gems in there. And I like how he flipped the narrative on fukk Them when I thought he was going in the simp direction.

I kind of appreciate the 8-bit sample flip on Super Cojo Bros. But I also know Nottz produced it and I'm a Nottz stan, so maybe I just want to like it. I'll give you this. It sounds like a beat that's meant for a beat battle for cats to go :damn:more than it sounds like it's meant to actually be rapped over. GQ ripped that shyt though.

:ohhh: thought they weren't doing more collabo albums
Yeah they been saying that shyt every tome for at least the last 3 they've done
:dead:
I wish creative people would stop acting as if they are athletes with all the "this is our last time doing this" talk. If people like to make music together I think it's goofy to put an artificial limit on it.

I'd be highly surprised if we never hear more of Murs and 9th Wonder.

Had no idea this was dropping at all, need to give it a proper listen later.

Nice to see 9th shared the production duties though as everything was starting to sound the same.

9th only did 3 joints? :what:

And of course one of them had to feature Rap.. :mjlol:

This just a Murs album

Basically.

Also Kash seems like a really cool ass dude, but I'll be god damned if he doesn't sound exactly like 9th. I honestly have a hard time telling their beats apart. For example, since 2011 I have tried to pick up on the tiny little differences between them, and even with a great ear for production, and knowing both of their styles in and out, I would have bet my life that 9th Wonder produced did the final track, Sin. If I'd have done that, I'd be a dead man.
:dead:

9th has a slight bounce in some of his beats that's not always there in Kash's beats, and on the last track I caught that warm little bounce in the bass-line and figured 9th had to have done it, especially since it's the closing track. But nope. All Kash.

No doubt. But :ld:honestly some of the Soul Council dudes sound a lot like 9th. They have their little signatures that you can pick up on, but if you played this project for someone that only knew 9th and told them 9th produced the whole thing, I don't think you'd get a lot of :beli: type looks either.

:hubie: Just saying.

But I agree. It's a dope project and I'm glad he got other producers involved.

The Rapsody feature is fire and probably the best I’ve heard her in a long time, y’all trippin

First time hearing Murs in a long time, and after listening, cool to know he still sounds good. Production is pretty consistent, I dig it, especially the latter tracks.

Album Knocks.

And yo, Gas Station Gucci Belt is a banger.

:blessed:

Lots of dope Hip-Hop out this year.

Also, yo, Murs keeps getting nicer.
This many years in the game and yet breh still finds away to improve and grow
as an artist.
