sunni vs shia beef is crazy. They both follow the same religion..:idk why they’re always at each other’s throats
:picard: Educational system trash, b. This was just in a single day.

a targeted group of assassinations and a wave of Catholic mob violence, directed against the Huguenots (French Calvinist Protestants)... Modern estimates for the number of dead across France vary widely, from 5,000 to 30,000.

Sarcasm :pachaha:oribital always trolling

I asked my comrades if there were any Afghan survivors simply based on his post saying he saw the stowaways start dancing after landing. My comrades began patiently explaining like I was five why there could never be survivors.

The embarrassing part is that I basically knew better, but because he was so detailed I needed to ask others and now they probably think I'm retarded smh.

It's amazing how they got that last lick in before the U.S. left. Like 2 kids fighting.
I haven't seen any reports this was done by the taliban. Seems like an ISIS adjacent group.

The taliban believe it or not may be the most reasonable force the US deals with in Afghanistan. They fought us when we were in their country trying to move them out but seem to be on board with taking on the leadership role and has had open talks with the US for some time now. We have legitimized them a while ago. People seem to be stuck in that post 911 paradigm when the dynamics have changed drastically since then.

For the US, the taliban isn't view as the enemy anymore and from all appearances it seems that the taliban is doing its part in trying to be legit leadership. At least, they didn't duck tail and run like the propped up Afgan government and its pathetic military.

Seems like you keep thinking of the taliban like they are ISIS based on your posts in the thread breh. They aren't like that honestly. When we leave they aren't going to be thinking about the west. They want to be left alone in their land and do their thing.
