Fair enough but personally, if you want to quibble over US marines deaths (kind of expected in their line of work and the US has killed way more) and the way the pull out was done, cool. But your previous post was advocating escalating military actions in afganistan and pushing military and intelligence agency fear mongering for why we shouldn't leave. I was thinking observers directing bombers wherever intel says they live. It’s true an AC130 is only available during certain hours. Kyrgyzstan seemed pretty big and established. No my other post was explaining what we did was a occupation and that if this was a real war we would kill everyone. I also stated that the Taliban are Terrorist and this cease fire was always a stupid game because suicide bombing is what they do.

All the equipment was left behind for the afghan military, dude.

Yall want to rewrite history now to make it seem as if the US saw the taliban coming, hit the and tried to get out of dodge because they was worried, and was so frazzled that they forgot about civilians and equipment.


That ain't what happened. Afghanistan had a president and a standing military that was allied with America and thats why they left military equipment and American civilians there, the same as they leave it in other countries that are allied with the US.

The Afghan president then ups and dips and the military disband. Then the taliban head in and take over in a couple days, which the US obviously wasn't expecting and that led to the current crisis that we are in.
