Online radicalization is a real thing. If it can make white men approaching social security age storm the U.S. Capitol I can see a black woman trying to burn down the home of a civil rights icon.

I also wonder who owns the home and how much it is insured for.

She fukked up though.. if the city/state owns that house they gonna make her pay. But if she’s a vet with mental illness tracked like PTSD (very common for women in the military btw, especially if sexually assaulted) then they might hook her up with a facility since she didn’t actually burn shyt down, hurt anyone, or resist arrest

People act out in destructive ways when mentally unwell or disturbed.

They go after things people cherish or admire in order to vent their internal demons and hurt other people. I understand the thought process, not condone.

People can get so down in a dark place and angry at the world, they try to find the a way to hurt people or world around them as much as possible. Same motivation behind a lot of mass shooters who are angry and frustrated with life and people that they seek to hurt them as much as possible.
