This guy never heard of direct deposit? Sadly New Yorkers gotta carry cash for Chinese restaurants as the vast majority of them are still cash only in 2022. Also all my corner store purchases like chopped cheese, etc is done by cash as I'm not even sure if most corner stores even accept debit/credit cards. I've seen ppl use the EBT card into an reader but I'm not sure if they take debit/credit too. I carry like 20 bucks tops though.

When I worked in Flushing Queens. Evrry single bank had lines ARPUND the corner , just to get into a bank they was making deposits with 2-3 debit cards at minimum. Opened my eyes on how they handle transactions, it allows for them to have two seperate books to avoid paying taxes on income.
