i liked the show... despite it's inacurate portrayal of dominicans...

its not as bad as i thought it would be, i actually kinda liked it. Ill pass more judgement after a couple of episodes but IMO it wasnt a bad start and they didnt portray dominicans in a bad light...

ya cant really expect to see the hood ass dominicans on this show, the closest u gonna have is the dude jimmy who pops was in jail. He looked like your typical nikka from the heights that will let anyone know passing by "i got that haze", the rapper JP was cool too it seems like them two and the hipster white boy are going to carry the show

i hated the poetry part tho, that shyt always come off corny to me idk why cant get into it

its cool that they show them chilling in the rooftops, a lot of us here in nyc do that shyt all the time. im always going to my roof with my ppls when we have cyphers or when i go alone myself to smoke a L ...i got a real nice view, jersey and the hudson river to the west, the heights to the north, downtown manhattan to the south and the rest of harlem to the east

once they landlord see whats up tho, he going to shut that roof down..i mean i know thats what would happen here

these show never truly represent the groups, like Jersey Shore was just an exaggeration of the whole guido group

but a show with real Dominicans would have been more enjoyable than this

they're whole life is drama filled: cheating, fighting, possibility of deportation with every arrest, etc
