Being from uptown manhattan and dominican myself i gotta say they did pick a couple dominican hipsters who obviously are repping our younger generation. But wasnt it already established that not everyone in that cast is dominican?

I think as long as they dont make the heights to be some trendy neighborhood like soho, and show the cast hit up spots like casa de mofongo, lucky 7's, coogans then its all good. I also expect them to be hitting up dyckman (right next to the heights) a lot since theres more trendy spots there like la marina, mamajuana, and papasitos that a lot of latinos from all over the city hit up on a regular basis.

Im also hoping they show how the heights/dyckman literally got the best weed in ALL of NYC. shyt aint even a secret, you go anywhere from the bronx to the bk and all the nikkas with that real good bud will tell you they get their shyt from uptown.

and lastly of course, they gotta show how the heights got some of the baddest woman in the city. Anyone from NYC whos walked up and down 181st know damn well they like the entire time, shyt is ridiculous.

Some of the cast members did come off corny, especially that white boy who im 100% positive is one of the last remainin jews in the heights (dominicans ran the jews and micks out the heights in the 70's and 80's, which im sure why that jew nikka is in here hating hard) . We just saw a trailer, lets come to a conclusion after we see a couple episodes.
