Being West Indian means you can possibly be Black, Asian, Indian or White. There's a higher chance of you being of Indian descent if you're from Trinidad & Tobago, Suriname, West Suriname, and Guyana. While in Jamaica there's the same possibility of you being of Chinese, Syrian or Lebanese descent. Different Islands have a variety of races and ethic groups. There's even a Muslim population in the W.I.
