I spent about two thirds of my life in the hood, and I never once saw some gangsta ass hood guy in a Box Chevy blasting Talib Kweli. The shyt just doesn't fukking happen. Who wants to cruise around listening to that bullshyt? I want to feel amped up when I listen to music, so I listen to GBE, Flocka, Tripple 6 mafia, and other shyt like that. I like that type of music. I don't need someone preaching their bullshyt philosophy to me over some fake-ass Roy Ayers rip-off beats. You can have that garbage. Roy Ayers was hot in 1974. It's 2013.
