Norfeast groovin…
lol, who the fukk watches cable news looking for actual "news"? I'm honestly dumbfounded by how quick people are to turn to bullshyt channels like CNN or msnbc, why not just watch Fox News then? :mindblown:

Unless its BBC, al Jazeera, NPR, or Pacifica radio I don't fukk with it. If I want to be entertained I'll watch Martin. :camby:

Were you born in the 90's or something? Mainstream music has always been shyt breh. That's just how it is. It has gotten worse and more focused on youth and sex, but who has time to sit around and listen to music? Kids! Who has time to dedicate their lives to being fans? Teenagers. What's on the mind of every teenager? Sex, fun and being young. Who buys most of the music in America? Teenagers. Do see the pattern here? Nobody in America has the idle time to listen to music extensively except for Teenagers.

I spent about two thirds of my life in the hood, and I never once saw some gangsta ass hood guy in a Box Chevy blasting Talib Kweli. The shyt just doesn't fukking happen. Who wants to cruise around listening to that bullshyt? I want to feel amped up when I listen to music, so I listen to GBE, Flocka, Tripple 6 mafia, and other shyt like that. I like that type of music. I don't need someone preaching their bullshyt philosophy to me over some fake-ass Roy Ayers rip-off beats. You can have that garbage. Roy Ayers was hot in 1974. It's 2013. Time to move on breh.
mainstream music hasn't always been shiit. motown wasn't. they started by taking over motown artists like mj and watering them down.
once black music got owned by white record labels the only thing they had in mind is making money off it while destroying the culture. maybe you are the one that was born yesterday to think mainstream music has always been shyt.
