Didn't read through thread, but my wife is from Pakistan and all those bytches really act like this . shyt has us dying with the conversations
I agree with all this. FAWS addressing how all these people coming back from the blip would effect the people that didn't get blipped was great. Cuz i never thought of how it would effect like politics and housing and who owns what now, etc....I went in thinking this show was going to be trash but it over delivered.Falcon and Winter Soldier is underrated, still my favorite series so far.
They let Sam's natural humor carry the comedy instead of writing corny jokes. The action was the best of all the tv shows so far and the only one that is comparable to the level of action we see in the films. Plus i like how they addressed black issues in the show instead of just being purely fantasy stuff like the others. Also came off as more mature than the other shows from a writing and violence perspective. Too many of the other shows seemed more family oriented, but this show had death, blood, broken bones etc
this is a good point.the show's main plot is told as subtext for an older audience and there isn't actually that much for a younger audience. even kamala and her friend mainly discuss serious adult subjects (election, sexism in the mosque, colorism and racism). are kids going to understand the illuminati referemce, or "mosque bros"? every interaction with the teachers is layered and layered in such a way that kids will find it hard to follow. that is why adults are praising the show.
anyone know of any better comic book podcasts?
I tried fukkin with Fan Bros, but all they do is dikkride MCU movies/shows
What doesn't make sense tho?
People just want shyt to connect to it. It has yet to be necessary.
I listen to Ringer-verse. They have two podcast a week. Unless there are a lot of releases. Van Latham and Charles give instant reactions. The podcast are like hanging out with your college friends. It's very light and fun. Then the second one is Mallory Rubin and Joanna Robinson. They give a deep dive on that movie or tv and talk about themes and what it all means and really get into the weeds of what just happened. Two very different shows but I enjoy both.
Recently they've done Stranger Things, The Boys, Obi-wan, Ms Marvel and Love and Thunder.
connecting films is pretty much the whole point of a cinematic universeWhat doesn't make sense tho?

Dude your comprehension of these movies is low. Eternals didn't even know that they aren't from Olympus and that they are just fancy robots and not actual living breathing people. How are they "all knowing"?lmfao you on payroll my boy.
Dont plant unviseral seeds to then not use em. Marvel has planted seeds no problem that impact only specific stories in the past and in this phase (i.e. Thunderbolts or whatever).
Having Kang + The Multiverse stuff but being unrelated to Kang + the all knowing Eternals who dont know who Kang is = dumb. And even if they use the Kang dying = all post events happen, thats fine but still at least have breh in the Cut
I've heard Antman is going to be a Civl War type flick, so if Kang shows up and mentions the events of Phase 4 then cool whatever, yeah its lazy but whatever, but until then if something isn't legit amazing/good then it's' going to naturally get heavily criticized.
Lets be real Thanos spoiled us, that shyt had us seeing movies we would ultimately never care about just to see the tie in. Now the same thing is happening and folks aint seeing tie in and are getting annoyed, because the stuff we are seeing aren't impactful enough to really care.
