I like how these miniseries have been used to incorporate more lore to the MCU, while also giving us character introductions. Basically a speedrun of an origin story. Don't have to sit there spending money on a theater seat to watch the whole "I got powers, but I also have a responsibility to use them for the right cause."

Makes the job of required watching way easier for casuals, so that when they start throwing these characters on the big screen they won't go "Who's that? Did we skip a movie?"

Cool seeing MK from Into the Badlands in the latest episode. That was an underappreciated show.
There's about to be a big shakeup too. They were teasing guns being introduced to the world.

Sonny was about to be on that John Woo time.

I dont think theyre expanding her powers outside of what we already seen

Peep this vid from the Avengers Disney Cruise ship

I think she just learns to use her powers more and gets better at manifestation (she can only make shields or extend her hands or create steps). Outside of that it looks like its just the new suit we see at the end of the series.

I was hoping this show would somehow tie into Eternals or expand another story we';ve seen from another movie/show but it seems like this whole show is what would happen if Disney XD went ahead and made a cartoon series for Kamala Khan. All the muslim stuff is a nice touch and a great way for folks to learn about Islam, but the comic narrative just seems goofy.

Perhaps we should relax and enjoy her origin story before making conclusions.

I enjoy the attention to detail, culture and such, and the acting is pretty good, but, the show just isn't that interesting otherwise. I kinda don't care who wins or what happens at the end.
There might be a redemption arc coming cause the villains ( if they really are family) are half-baked.

Kamala actress is pulling double duty to make the story interesting

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
My wife caught up, and loves this show now. I like it, it’s cool, I appreciated the fight and chase scene(s). It is very hokey, but I am impressed that they can still tell the story very PG. I also like that they are using these shows as a vehicle to introduce mutant type shot to the MCU. I like they are keeping Antman in business, too, I think Paul Rudd is underrated in the MCU with all the stars they have, he is definitely the most relatable to the larger demographics. I still really like the religious aspect, I can promise you that because of the xenophobic ways in this country, a lot of folks see a hijab, and that becomes the person who is wearing its whole, entire identity, and this show actually adds alot of layers to the women that wear them, and shows the ignorant that they are just like everyone else, same interests, same everything, they just wear a hijab.
