This is why I’ve avoided that subreddit and hate when people bring it up. Theories after theories deciphering every single thing, and it ends up being right most of the time. I’m still taken back by what happened, this episode might have broken me brehs. My issue is a few brought up this “twist” a few episodes ago, once again killing the hype a little bit. Think I’ll avoid this thread until after the finale. Best live thread in The Coli, but I need to be 100% surprise.

The rewatch is going to be tough to watch now. You want me at my highest form of hatred, mention anything pedo/child abuse related. Damn the final 6 is going to destroy our minds.
The way some people can break these episodes down and find hints/clues is so crazy to me. I must turn my brain off when I watch TV because I'm usually (pleasantly) surprised when shows have twists and turns. I also like going into new episodes blind and I've ruined things for myself by reading reviews/theories.

This show, though :wow: I don't even have to try to go in blind because I never know what the fukk is gonna happen.

Another great thing about the episode is the whole thing took place in two rooms. I was waiting for a flashback of kid Elliot, Leon to show up, or a cut to somewhere else. It felt like one of those "we blew the budget so here's two characters talking for an hour" episodes. Add in the overly dramatic score, the different acts, and it seemed like style over substance. It started like that but kept building into greatness. This and the silent episode are classics.

Was that Goyard wallpaper? Krista stunting on these hoes:wow:

The store is probably the only positive recollection Elliot had of his pops because everything else we seen it was clear there was some animosity. shyt completely changes the ending of season 3 where they reconcile and you feel like they can really get shyt done together. What the fukk? :mindblown:

That was one of the worst episodes of an acclaimed series I’ve ever seen. Dogshyt from start to finish.

Elliot screaming out the window as Dominican Meth man consoles him with “bruh” after “bruh” was borderline slapstick comedy.

It was the plan that got me... I don't care how much Meth you smoking... You ain't taking over NYC and having them sell drugs in legal establishments... nikka what?? The second he found out about the money, he should have took that and ran.. Mr Robot called him out on being the dumbest plan in the history of the world, but still... His whole island of PR/Haiti didn't tell him first?

Wow. Also from r/MrRobot

Anyone else think the Acts corresponded with the stages of grief?

Stage 1: Denial - Elliot is in denial about the whole situation

Stage 2: Anger - Mr. Robot goes in on Vera

Stage 3: Bargaining - Elliot bargains for Krista's life

Stage 4: Depression - The whole twist

Stage 5: Acceptance - Vera helped him accept what happened

By the way, for the few people that don't really like the twist. This is my big take away.

The seeds have been planted since literally the first episode of the show. That tells me that Sam Esmail had a very clear vision from day one. The fact that he's had a plan on how to end the show gives me a lot of confidence, by simple virtue of the fact that he's not winging it.
This actually makes perfect sense. Just wish the meth nikka wasn't so much of a caricature. And the build up to the reveal was like watching a broken record. She repeated the story like 5 times before Elliot figured out what the audience got the first time.

Ozymandias tier episode :wow:

Malek's got the Emmy wrapped the fukk up, what a performance.

Last nights episode has an average rating of 10/10 on IMDB with nearly 3000 reviews.

This is Ozymandias territory folks.
