My dad's whole side, we got fam in The Bay as family went there, but our whole family is Sacramento raised. My mom side, we don't even have family in The Bay, but we got family in LA...

It's not uncommon to meet Bay dudes in Sac, or meet people with Bay connections. But "most" people in Sac not from The Bay, and we definitely take influences from The Bay but that's it...

I've been watching dudes come up for the last couple years... His most recent video doing 700K in 2 days. He's never done that before. He's about to reach the peak of his popularity and blow.

And I couldn't name anyone else that deserves it more right now. He's been grafting for fukking ages and it's bout to pay off. And he independent :yeshrug:

Nah he one of the dopest from his era for sure. But he not better than Kenny and Nip was better...

Mozzy the hottest thing to ever come outta Sacramento. And from his era he may be the hottest from NorCal period, only person even in the running with him is Philthy. He's made a decent legacy for himself...

My beef with Mozzy is he had the opportunity to be bigger than what he is. He couldn't leave the banging on wax alone, still won't. He's established himself as more than a regional artist, I can attest that I know people out east who are Mozzy fans. But he's not a real "star", that lane was there for him around Gangland Landlord time. And what did he do? Started beefing with Lav again, started beefing with Phil, caught those gun charges---->he killed his own momentum and ruined his goodwill...

He was supposed to be bigger than he is. His artistry did grow if you listened to him a decade ago to now, you can hear the growth, but it didn't grow enough, his subject matter never elevated beyond the regional gangbanging and that's what he needed to do...
