Don't think Mozzy ever met Jacka while he was alive. So it has to be a copped verse.
What was it about the Jacka that was so appealing to you?
He never talked about fancy shyt. He didn’t give a fukk about no dope-ass car or no jewelry or no Murcielagos or nothing. He didn’t care about none of that shyt. He was real. He would pull up in your neighborhood and pounce out without security. nikka was just real. You could just hear it in a nikka’s music. He’s talking about shyt that I go through. Like I ain’t ever met this nikka, I ain’t ever seen him for a day in my life, I ain’t never slid through his residential, this nikka be identifying with what I’ve got going on. So that was just it to me. And there’s yet to be another nikka who can say that. Rest in peace, Pac, but that nikka Jacka, he’s black history.
I think the bolded was more a figure of speech to emphasize that Jacka's music was transcendent in the way that Mozzy could hear Jacka's rhymes and feel like they applied to his own life even though he never lived a day in the P.
I highly doubt that he never met Jacka because he used to run with Joe Blow and Livewire in 2013/2014 shortly after that Tonite Show dropped in 2013. I'm 99% sure they worked together before, Jacka was the type to work with upcoming local artists who were lyrically talented and especially if they came from the streets.
Jacka rolled with a lot of youngins and underground cats, but I ain't never seen any pics with him with Mozzy tho.So can't really say he lyin on himself as a figure of speech. Most people would just say they met him and it was a great experience or something else.
Mozzy song formula of 2 verses is interesting, kinda wants you wanting more from him
Can't stop listening to it
