That's a lot of hope. You usually have to get fukked in the azz for them jobs, literally. Good luck tho :patrice:

I already do photography for vice mag and vogue.

And I have a contact at the new yorker. Trust me though ill be doing a lot of things photo wise from now until then so my profile will be a lot higher than it is now. Ive seen a lot of people to go NYC and fail so im trying to be really prepared until then.

Im 28 and I decided I dont want to be 30 doing the same shyt or hanging out with the same people. A bunch of my older friends who turned 30 this year are going through crisis and I don't want that to be me. I really have nothing keeping me here.

I just decided that I'm going to pack up and move to NYC in a year and a half. Going to start saving and preparing now.....I have a lot of shyt to do until then. I have a degree in Engineering but I dont see myself working in that anymore. I'm giving all that up to do photography for vice, vogue, and the new yorker hopefully.

Im very excited about this new stage of life wish me luck!

how you going to work without papers breh?:

More like 100k

And prepare to spend mad money on damn rent.

He could still come to NY with $15k and get a decent crib in the hood and not live shytty. But don't wait til 4-5 months in to find a strong source of income.

After a while you learn (some don't) how to not blow all of your cash living here but things can be expensive.

Make good $$$ so that $$$ isn't too big of a deal. You'll meet a ton of people if you're social but be prepared to compete for worthwhile opportunities.

The World, but from BK
also, we know you love hipster chiks, but you're gonna love the large amount of Caribbean-latinas out here. Might wanna feast on them before you lock yourself down with a hipster chik. We have a lot of hipster chiks out here though too. 95% are in shape too.
