Even still. If I saw a movie 5 times in the theatre, I'd probably never want to watch it again. Thats like listening to your favorite song on repeat. After 10 listens, you don't even like that shyt anymore.
Playing out a movie before it even comes out on video. Ya'll must be OCD or something.

There are 3 that I did this for: One I can't remember but the others were 8 Mile and the first Raid flick.

I definitely saw three movies 3 times in the theater...
In 1990 I saw the first TMNT (first day it came out) and 2 other times...
I saw Gladiator 3 times in the movies (it's my all time movie)
And I saw Avatar in 3D 3 times...that was an experience in it's self

If I like a movie a lot, I will see it multiple times. It's a great way to relax, so I don't see it as a waste of money (I like to think of it as equivalent to money spent on blunts since I don't smoke). I've been doing it since I was a teenager, so there's too many to name, but I do distinctly remember seeing The Matrix and Spiderman 2 more than the rest.
I haven't seen a movie more than once in the theatres since the 90s.. I chalk it up to videogames (dat ps2 back in the day) and discovering women
and now the shortened window for home release
I have wanted to see Guardians of the Galaxy again though

I went and saw the hangover twice because this woman I was crazy about hadn't seen it so I went with her, not giving a fukk about the movie...
Let me see, I saw Clerks 2 twice for my sister, Cabin in the Woods twice because I love that fukking movie, and I can't think of any others
