prometheus stands on its own merits, and is a decent allusion to the alien movies, dudes want a carbon copy
I admit the story was a bit messy, but I actually enjoyed it as well.

Love it man. I remember first getting it on blu ray on a blind buy and just fell in love with it
I bought it with my other British crime flicks like Lock Stock, Snatch, etc...love films like that
