i'll watch pretty much anything but i dont like biopics....99% of new horror movies suck, i'll only watch it if it looks different & has good reviews like 'it folllows'
and i hate remakes, why are they redoing Point Break, Escape From New York, etc...those movies are only good cause the old school cheesiness

I noticed a lot say Harry potter / twilight
Which I haven't seen either.
But just objective observation.
A lot of things that where originally ours voodoo/ what they labeled as black Magic/ things dealing with spirits and the dead. They vilify and cause a lot of black people to be repulsed by it
But then turn around spruce it up and repackege and sell it to thier kids in these movies.
If you've ever noticed as well in movies you rarely if ever see a black whitch?
From nahlins to Haiti and even Africa we are known for holistic healing and dealing with the unknown
I don't endorse it but am not appalled by it they make it appear bad but it truly isn't.
Even if you view how our people and other culures Mourn the dead as compared to a cac funeral
the innate connection we have with life this earth are surroundings each other is different.
