watched scary movie on netlix the other day

shyt had so many dated azz references to late 90's-early 2000's pop culture its crazy (like the matrix and that "wazzuup" budwesider commercial that was hot for a minute back then). the movie also relies on your recognition of these references for most of its laughs, so if you're a kid watching it now and unaware of all these callbacks you'll just be like


I feel like scary movie was already dated a year or two after it released. that's how badly it's aged

Anyway, I watched Casper during the Halloween season and while I enjoyed the first half of it, the second half lingered so much. By the end, I wanted to follow the crazy uncles around instead of the main title character.
