But the movie was MIERDA upon release. I was shocked...I thought it had potential to be great.
Green lantern flopped badly. 219 million gross on a 200 million budget. Considering theatres take half the cut thats horrible.OP
The last 5 pictures Ryan Reynolds was in before RIPD made over 750millz (net income)

Safe house was a product of denzel.
What else? Turbo? A kids film not sold on a voice actor.
Pretty much every time hes been cast as the lead the movie flops.

I don't think you understand how movie releases work. Theatres take half of a movies gross. Suddenly that "20 million profit" is gone. Not to mention advertising costs.

Kids movies arent making money because ryan reynolds is in them, the marketing isnt based around him.
And if we're talking abput his box office draw why would we discuss movies he's not leading. I guess ted made 500 million because he had a cameo right? I guess people went to see safe house for ryan reynolds not denzel right?
Ryan reynolds doesnt draw a dime. Hence why whenever he gets lead roles the movie flops.
