What happened to the Last Dragon remake?

The Monster Squad with modern effects could be dope.

Also, after the success of TLOR franchise, I'm still amazed they haven't remade Willow...certified classic.

I also think Short Circuit and Weird Science would be crazy if they got remade just because I loved those movies.

it depends on what you mean, remake or reboot

A remake would be the exact same script everything shot from shot, just using different actors and modern technology
to me thats the only why movies should be remade
a reboot making a new movie and slapping the name on it for branding issues

to me star wars never should've had prequels they should've just remade the originals with different actors and keeping the scenes the exact same
just updating the special effects.

if they were to do Last Dragon, and it was not set in the 80's it would not be Last Dragon, it would be a different movie with the Last Dragon name
