Why wouldn't it? The princess chick busts into their apartment looking like she just survived a terrorist attack less then 10 minutes after the Super Mario Bros. had just saved the world & tells them "you're not gonna believe this..." then the credits roll...

So yeah bruh... I expected a Sequel... :beli:

I don't think District 9 really set itself up for a sequel, to be honest. Wikus lived out his days as a prawn, that was the end of his chapter :sadcam: :yeshrug:
