the film Birth had potential to do some damage to me but it fell pretty short halfway to the ending. That boy just single-handedly destroying a family like that..
Watched this film once and could never bring myself to watch it again. The fact that it's a true story makes it that much more powerful.
In the end when he gives up because he feels as if he has no one left due to his doctor and friend dying, and just lays back and suffocates to death with the voice of his mother consoling him? Had me

i first watched this film at the age of 6 or 7 thinking it was a horror flick..after viewing i was pretty much disturbed and surprised how great it was.

oh man that film is heavily slept on. The acting definitely makes it more worth while.
Its been mentioned a bunch of times, but learning that Grave of the Fireflies was autobiographical made me feel.... some kinda way.
