Just saw Dear Zachary.
Well, there are sad moments, but it's a rather optimistic movie if you look at it wholly IMO. It's about fighting for love & friendship I think.
What bothered me the most was the way the director cut the movie. I mean, it's a documentary but it looks like a thriller with suspense, new developpements, sad music, special fx (the moment when the baby is killed, I felt like :wtf: at the noises and visual fx, that was just so inappropriate to me). I mean I just felt strange about it.

And please use the spoiler tag.
I'm :merchant: when I browse for movies and randomly read some post to know what it's about and see in plain text the end explained.

Remember, what has been see, cannot be unseen. Now I read this thead like :snoop: trying not to spoil a flick.

I don't like movies that can rip my soul apart...but I'm bout to watch that Dear Zachary movie...after watching the trailer I can pretty much figure out what the plot twist is...well I can imagine the worst possible thing to happen...I know its gonna be sad if THATS what happens but i can prolly handle it.

Once again...I dont really dig movies that rip my soul apart so other than Requiem and Dead Presidents...the saddest movies i've prolly watched are

they're prolly pretty tame compared to most of the movies listed in here.

I was half asleep when I first caught Digging to China on HBO...when mom dukes died and they played that Herb Alpert song...i was like :ooh::sadcam:

They didn't exactly rip my soul apart, but they left me with the :sadcam: for a while.
The part in Artificial Intelligence where Haley Joel Osment mom comes back alive for one night. That shyt made me think about my moms, and how I know when she passes I'll want that same opportunity,if only for one night :sadcam:. That along with the end scene when he goes into the water, gets me everytime.
That AI shyt was a sad ass fukkin movie.

:sadcam:

I think this is the first anime film I've seen. Was walking around my library as a youngin' and saw that cover and I was like: :ooh: "Action packed anime!"

I was a judge a book-by-its-cover ass nikka :smh:

Kids blowing themselves up, alternate history shyt (Germany won WWII), conspiracies, power war, deep philosophical shyt going on, and an ending that just about fukked my day up. shyt caught me off guard but great film.

I didn't know if I should laugh or cry during Bad Boy Bubby.

for some reason I was reading The Road while on vacation in laos. every time I was outside I felt lucky to have people around. people who don't want you for dinner at that.

let me tell you something breh...................:aicmon: don't watch that Megan is Missing shyt. seriously.

At least wit Dear Zachary you see hope in good people like his grandparents and how they tried to fight for little Zach. His friends for making the documentary to show the world.

With Megan Is Missing you're not gonna get anything but pure, unfiltered grief, disgust and misery. Add on some profound sadness and the empty feeling of helplessness on top of it. It's that simple. fukk that movie.:birdman:
Too late breh...I didn't see this post and watched Megan Is Missing last night :sadcam: x 10000000000000000000000000

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
