(almost) any david lynch film.

Eraserhead, The Elephant Man, Blue Velvet, Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive, Inland Empire.
All of them fukk with your mind and soul.
One of my favorite directors. Although many folk don't fukk with Wild at Heart, it's one of the very few Nic Cage performances I liked.

Wild at Heart was kinda like the original foreign version of Tarantino's Pulp Fiction.

Of course it's not real.

The movie is not even a true story, though it is somewhat based on two girls who experienced similar fates on Portland.

Read up on the Portland case btw. It'll give you goosebumps.

im gonna check it out... thanks

The "Cease Fire" scene from Children of Men. I never tear up much less cry during movies, and that's not macho bravado it's the truth, but this scene was so god damn powerful and perfectly done that it actually got to a nikka. You definitely need the context of the rest of the film to fully appreciate it, especially the epic "Long Shot"(one 8 minute long shot continuous shot of death & explosions) which precedes it. If you haven't seen CoM, I wouldn't watch:

Children of Men (9/10) Movie CLIP - Miracle Cease Fire (2006) HD - YouTube

Children Of Men left me empty. That long continuous shot of bullets, blood, bodies getting popped, and explosion errupting everywhere :wow:

And :to:
for Clive Owens dying in the end after he saves the girl and her baby
. Powerful movie

Just saw Gummo.
Didn't move me but I'm was :wtf: the whole movie same as Lynch movies. I still haven't finished watching Inland Empire by the way.

South Korean movies (we should just have a thread for them) are crazy with the :sadcam: moments. Plus, you always have awkward moments too which make you laugh while the situation is dramatic then you end up like  :wtf:
I discover the new SK wave not a long time ago, but I'm a fan now.

They have been named earlier, but you also have the Vengeance Trilogy (M. Vengance, Old Boy, Lady Vengeance), A bittersweet life or Mother.

Just watched Oldboy....:yeshrug:
It was good but didn't really affect me in any way. I saw The Samaritan recently so maybe that's why the whole thing with his daughter wasn't that big a deal to me
