I didn’t think Davis was winning the fight like the judges had it. Idk if 140 is the weight class for Davis but if he does stay there… he’s def gonna have some new people to rumble with. All in all tank delivered because to me it sure felt like he needed the tko/ko to win and he got that.
Barrios I think got one round after the knockdowns clearly, and one was debatable. I had it even until the KO. Everything was still to fight for. Tank definitely was on his way to a win on the cards.

He didn't "need" a KO, but he definitely needed those two knockdowns to even up the fight as quickly as he did.

This, I been saying it since last night but getting called a hater.

Dudes get hyped on wins over legit cherry picks. Sad. When they finally let Tank fight a real skilled killer it’ll be the biggest exposure. Can’t wait to see these fools excuses when he’s outboxed and made to look like easy work. Not sure if Floyd and Al goin to ever let him do that though. They legit wanted to wait for 2 more years to get him in there with Loma. Teo did that sh1t at 22 years old. :mjlol:

I had the unofficial score card type numbers. So yes he “needed” the KO that’s why Floyd told him what it was going into round 11. I personally haven’t seen score cards and unofficial be so off from each other. Since that was the case I doubt Floyd woulda said what he said if he saw it the same as the judges.

Fight was close and yes, he needed those knockdowns. I had no doubt those cards would be heavily favoring Tank though. He’s PBC/Showtime/Haymon and Floyds baby. Need to put him asleep in order to ever get a win on him.

Tank is still only 26. He's got plenty of growth left if he stays dedicated. He's not even in his physical prime yet. But still. All of these guys at 135 are damn near equal. All these fights can go either way cause they all have different tools and attributes that give eachother fits. And even Loma is still in the mix. He can also give these guys serious problems. But you have to put teo and tank at the top right now. Then I'd say Haney and Shakur. And even Ryan is a wild card cause of his length speed and power. He may be limited but he's still not a guy you can get reckless with. You always gotta stay focused with him. There's a lot of intriguing matchups here. It's just a shame most of em prolly won't be made until they're too late:snoop:

Canelo really likes Tank huh

Canelo has always given tank his props. And canelo is tanks favorite fighter. It makes sense cause they're similar fighters. Short stocky dudes who like to load up with bombs. Elite technical boxers but still down for a war. Tank may not be as defensively sound as canelo but canelo also didn't become great overnight. He used to take a lot of punches until he became a more patient fighter. I think tank will get there. He has the power where he doesn't even need to put himself in harm's way so much. Just pick his spots and wait for his opponents to make a mistake.

Dev didn't do himself no favors in his last fight

He beat the guy convincingly for 10 rounds straight, even the one he got wobbled … survived a test of being hurt. Didn’t get dropped and stayed composed the whole time, how did he do himself no favors?
