The first few months of starting workout routine..... you should have soreness but it will decrease over time. In my experience, if not then you're not using enough weight or doing enough sets. I see this alot in women, because they seem to be more cardio focused (because its easier for them) rather than weights, which will gain better results in the long run because its builds muscle, which burns fat whether your currently active or not.
