I think people are getting too caught up in the surface bullshyt with Kanye. Dude is doing something extremely important for Hip Hop and it's culture. Peep how he is talking in interviews now. He is presenting himself in a way that is mocking the mainstream culture and giving them doses of what successful Black men go through all the time. He is basically asking them, "Why won't you accept me?" I know at times he is emotional and goes on rants but for all that he has done he should have some type of respect. He called out Bush on his bullshyt during Katrina, embarrassed Taylor Swift, cut up at damn near every award show because we are too accepting of the mass bullshyt we are being presented with. He is the only one in Hip Hop doing that because he has created his own lane. It's only selling out if he goes along with the bullshyt.

here's my thing why ask "why wont you accept me"? with all the money/fans he has he could of forced his way into the fashion industry, the problem is Kanye wants to be accepted by the European (Not white Americans so much) culture. Damn near everything about him since graduation has been on that tilt. Half the references he makes isn't even a money thing its just a European thing/designer/brand.

I don't think he was on that "need European acceptance path" then. If anything he still wanted acceptance from black people and rap fans as a legitimate rapper. He didn't go in on the whole fashion mode until after he had our full acceptance that came after he dropped Graduation, and not for nothing told George Bush he doesn't care about black people.
