Announcing something like this is dumb. And it's stupid cause it punishes your innocent grand kids. That's still your lineage so why make them suffer? And what happens when her sons decide to retaliate and not let her see her grand kids? Its easy to talk that talk until the babies are real. She will be singing a different tune then.

If you raise your kids right you can minimize the chances of things like that happening. But even good kids can make mistakes or get played by a chick.

On one hand, I agree with the stipulation, on the other, shame on my kids (and me) if they aren't successful enough to not give a damn about any inheritance of mine and not be able to tell me to shove said inheritance where the sun doesn't shine.
My father tried to pull this with me and I've told him to write me out of his will. How useless of a man am I to be reliant on his money at this point in my life? At most I told him to put in the grandkids college fund and to leave me the fukk alone.
