For those confused as to why men (or women) didn't intervene.. one major reason is because this is a well known trap area. There tends to be at minimum a dozen nikkas standing around in front of that Little Caesars and the gas station to the right of it, damn near all the time. Its intimidating for the uninitiated, I'm sure.
Then you have the apartment complex attached to all of that, which apparently is well known to people who aren't from Augusta, or even been to Augusta. The rumors and stories of gun play here are real. I've been here for 15 years and can say unequivocally that this isn't the best place to try to play hero. Especially when its only a moderate ass whooping occurring between folks in their early to mid 20s.
I almost dry snitched, so I'll leave things at that.
But given who was out there at that time of day and the context... that shyt should have been left alone like it was. The only intervening that needed to occur (after the toddler was removed) was once the head stomping happened, thankfully Brittany policed herself. Seeing her from afar for as long as I have, I wasn't sure if she had it in her. So kudos to her for showing the kind of restraint she did, I mean that sincerely.
