I found these 2 in my closet recently in a box w/ a few other cards I once deemed worthy enough to put in protective cases.

I remember this Ken Griffey Jr card was once valued at like $75.00, and the Olajuwon one was worth $35.00 I believe. I couldnt believe it when I got them.

And I was such a big Olajuwon fan growing up that I put the lesser expensive card in the most protective case.

Oh, to be a kid in the 90's. :blessed:

Neither one of these cards are probably worth a damn dollar these days :mjcry:

I got that Ken Griffey Jr Upper Deck rookie card,.. when I was a youngun that shyt was worth hundreds of dollars. I just checked eBay and it's going for like $12 :dahell:

Are cards not worth anything these days or did that price drop cuz of all the injuries?

I had some special gold foil Derek Jeter rookie card that, at the time, was "worth" 50x what the regular card was. Now it's probably $5

breh, kids aren't checking for cards these days :heh: They're watching stuff on their tablets all day.

And most adults who were into it as kids dont have time to keep it up. So it just sort of faded away

Have quite a few football cards from the mid 70's to the 80's with greats such as: Walter Payton, O.J. Simpson, Ronnie Lott, Joe Montana (just to name a few).
It's just a got damn shame that these football cards aren't worth crap today, while the numerous trash & bullshyt they show on Antiques Roadshow is worth major bucks.
