Sam Adams would boost your run D by 5 spots just by being there :wow:
which makes me think of another hoss, Ted Washington
Ty Law
Brock Marion
Duane Starks and Chris McAlister, Ravens D was already coming into form before Ed Reed he just made it mega-dominant. both corners were very tough
John Abraham made some PB's, but he had a pretty productive end to his career too
Al Wilson/DJ Williams
Ahman Green

brian dawkins when remembered is rated highly. problem is people dont remember him as much and almost never mention him along with reed.

yet he has only one less all pro appearance than ed and two less pro bowls

in fact, those early 2000s eagles teams defense is rarely remembered

troy vincent was a perennial pro-bowler. sheppard had a real good run for a couple of years, so did hugh douglas. trotter was good. that defense is too disrespected.

Dawk should make the Hall 1st ballot, he changed the game beyond his (already great) stats. im in the Philly market, seen 90% of his games the guy was a force of nature

secondary was very good for those Eagle teams, 3 guys made it the one or two seasons Michael Lewis was makin it w/ Lito and Dawk and Sheldon Brown was a very good cb2

plus they had jimmy johnson as DC. that defense was very scary but because they havent won anything and they were some better defenses during the same time (ravens, bucs) they rarely get talked about
