Patriots: Dont'a Hightower

He gets respect, but I don't think people realize how good is and how clutch he has been in the biggest moments.

Patriots v.s. Seattle Super Bowl: People always talk about the Butler INT, and rightfully so, but arguably the play of the game happened right before that when Hightower stuffed and denied Marshawn Lynch at the goal-line.

Patriots v.s. Falcons Super Bowl: Enough said, he played an outstanding game and made the defensive play of the game. He has a great game against Houston as well. During the season, he was the LB with the fewest yards allowed per reception in the NFL, as well as having the second highest QB pressure percentage in the NFL, only trailing Mack.:wow:.

Patriots v.s. Broncos 2015: Only reason it's not "Tommy Six Rings" yet is because the Patriots lose home-field after Hightower was injured against the Broncos. The Broncos were doing nothing with their rushing attack until Hightower left injured, and then the Patriots were gored the rest of the game. Lost home-field, and suffered that playoff loss in Denver with that crowd noise.

Best defensive player out of Bama in a while..

Not underrated from a talent point of view, but people are definitely sleepin' on Austin Seferian-Jenkins. Breh lost 30 lbs and came to camp ready to beast. Don't be surprised if he returns to glory this season...

Falcons: Grady Jarrett

There's so many to choose from but when people talk about the Falcons defense you hear about CB Desmond Trufant, OLB Vic Beasley, SS Keanu Neal or MLB Deion Jones. Most don't recognize that the 3rd year DT out of Clemson (and son of Falcons great Jessie Tuggle) is one of the true keys to the defense. He was unblockable in the Super Bowl with 3 sacks and is only getting better. With newly signed Dontari Poe on the other side of him, look for Jarrett to have a career year

he's always had talent but people have questioned his passion for the game since high school. he flipped the switch because he's in a contract year.

Cardinals fan.

I used to say this about Tony Jefferson, but we lost him in free agency this year:mjcry:

Breh was arguably our best player on defense.

Maybe not the most "talented", but breh put in work.

The other guy was D.J. Swearinger, but we lost him, to:francis:
