i used to love K'naan but i think he lost his way. i still download his stuff when i see it but the last thing i really listened to was the Fela Kuti Messenger EP that's dope as fukk IMO

their music is much more expensive to promote. Only Jay-Z can pull that off because he has the dollars to back it. Other artists have to have their songs grow organically via online blogs/viral shyt/strip clubs...etc.
