The 2010 Rumble was the last classic Rumble. They actually bothered to create storylines for it going in and then within the match itself.
-Shawn Michaels had to win the Rumble in order to get a match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania. Even if you weren't his biggest fan, you wanted to see him win because it was his last chance.
-Triple H was standing in the way because he wanted to be the WWE Champion again. He got eliminated by Shawn of all people.
-CM Punk eliminating everyone in sight and giving a promo after each elimination.
-Edge returning from injury and going after Jericho first, because he kept talking shyt about Edge after he got injured.
-Cena eliminating Batista, which is what indirectly started their feud.
2011 was the last truly great rumble and we all know why
Only Punk in Chicago in August got a bigger pop
