Nelly sold damn near 10 million copies and still wasn't the biggest artist in 2000. That's crazy that the game had two diamond selling rappers in the same year. Eminem was and is still huge as hell. The internet and illegal downloading has changed the way game forever. nikkas like Ross and the bunch would be going double and triple plat. Even in 2002 Nelly sold 7 million and Slim still outsold him with another Diamond LP.
