they'd rather live in a bubble and avoid facing it. this is a classic example.

this dude saw this chick on TV and noticed she was on the bigger side. he called her out on it and instead of acknowledging it she goes into this defensive rant about how he's bullying her and made a hurtful attack on her appearance. she read that letter and he came at her about as non-confrontational as possible.

honestly the truth doesn't hurt its people's inability to accept it that causes them pain.

A lot of people on T/S side of the argument are just a$$holes who take joy in other people's pain. Why tell someone they are fat if they didn't ask? If you are older than Middle school age there is no reason to tell someone they are fat unless you are trying to help them improve their health or it is some form of constructive criticism. The problem with certain people is that they will say some shyt like that, without the intent of actually helping someone/improving them, and still think it is constructive.

Didn't watch the video nor was I commenting on it specifically, my point is that a lot of people who think they are justified in saying these kind of things to people without actually intending to help them are a$$holes. If I have a friend who is very overweight and I'm worried about his/her health, there is nothing wrong with me informing them. But if my intent is to ridicule them or make myself feel better about my own flaws then I am just being an a$$hole

Watch the video my dude, his points we valid and he was speaking the truth, it led to a 4 minute diatribe calling him a bully even though nothing he said was really that harsh.

His intent wasn't of malice.

He clearly said that she hadn't sought to improve her weight condition and it's been like this for the past couple years.

These public figures do make things like this seem acceptable to the public.

They're only proactive about it until their own doctors give them stern warnings e.g. Monique

I wouldn't be surprised if the actual author of this email was her bytch ass husband who never had the courage to tell her she was fat.
