Nah he is african but he grew up here, when he first started comedy he did it normally, speaking without an acccent but he started the african thing and he flew with it. I think Godfrey, he's also african, is 100x better.

Depends on how much youre into Stand-up really. Like my favorite comedians are that whole "Tough Crowd", Colin Quinn led group like Patrice, Giraldo, CK, Bill Burr, Dave Attell, Marc Maron, Kevin Hart, Jim Norton, Bob Kelly, Keith Robinson, Nick DiPoalo, etc. etc. Basically anyone of the Boston/NYC comedians that came up in the Comedy Cellar.

Overrated? Umm I never gave a shyt about Alt Comics. Unless you consider Patton Oswalt an alt comic.

You tripping bruh... as far as stand up comedy. Kevin Hart is hilarious, although I didn't think laugh at my pain was that great. His other material, particularly Grown Little Man, is pretty funny to me. Even my girl finds him funny, and she doesn't even really have the best sense of humor, imo (Or maybe I just don't like what she thinks is funny).

Bill Burr, Louis Ck, and Patrice O'neal......All very underrated. Its almost shameful that a guy like Kevin Hart has such a following but Patrice didn't get that kinda love.

I won't question your taste... but I can't agree that it's shameful. Kevin Hart has been putting in work for a LONG time.... and been in a lot of terrible movies to get where he is now. And if people love his comedy, you can't say it's shameful.

Maybe it's a shame that Patrice O'Neal doesn't get enough love... but that's completely separate from Kevin Hart has done/does.
