Flair/Hogan- Halloween Havoc 94

Let me enlighten my fellow TSC brehs to why this match was VERY important. For starters, Flair and Hogan was the most needed match for any wrestling fan for the time. You have the regal wheeling dealing son of a gun Flair and you have the Immortal Hulk Hogan in a fukking cage. Not a regular match...but a legit steel cage match. This was to make Hogan a made man to how WCW goes down. If you want to get through the wrasslin fanbase, you got to go through the fukking cage.

Now you have Michael Buffer letting heads know what's real. Ali by the ringside like a legit GOAT and thousands of wrestling fans going ape shyt for two GOATs going at it. Now you expect Hogan to do his normal bullshyt but hell nah. Hogan straight came for blood. He ripping eyeballs, low blows, biting heads, and fukking Flair up.

He fell for the booby trap because Flair was with the shyts. Chops, Sherri doing what it do to help Flair get the advantage, and knocking Mr T out so its fair game with the ass whipping. Now we have a sonic nova of fukkery with Flair's dirty game and Hogan's creative bullshyt. It legit felt like WCW vs WWF on the grounds of Detroit.

While the ending was what it was and Hogan's fukkery card was overkill, this was the match that defined WCW for what it was. A rugged battleground where there's no Sports Entertainment bullshyt, but warriors going all out for glory.

Should be Sting/Hogan Hogan/Goldberg but they booked those all wrong.

Does Kerrie Von Eric/Flair count or was that another promotion?

Edit: they didn't know what they had with Benoit/Hart. With Eddie and Rey in the cut

Von Erich beat flair on WCW soil.

Goldberg/Hogan was booked fine.

What I meant was they messed it up by giving away that big money match on free tv.

nah. thats WWE pushing that narrative in retrospect and they got people repeating it.

WCW didnt rely on that one big money match to sell a ppv.

The Steiners vs the Nasty Boys Halloween Havoc 90

The Luger/Stan Hansen feud from Halloween Havoc to Starcade... Hanson took Luger's pretty boy ass through the woodshed l:russ:
That was a weird time because NWA was just about to become WCW and that year Lex Luger had two US title feuds where he dropped the belt and then regained it against Michael Hayes and then Stan Hansen.
Hansen's short US title run is very underrated.
