The Chairshot Heard from around the world- This really made you realize that ECW was going to change the game. This was never seen on TV until that night


This match is what you think about when it comes down to TNA/IMPACT. This made them made men that night and helped put all three wrestlers on the foregrounds of professional wrestling (sadly Daniels is meh in AEW but what can ya do).


This match did the following:

• Showed the world the legend in Hayabusa
• The gift of light weight wrestlers
• Had WCW go (we may need to get hip to this shyt)
• Made the Super J Cup one of the best tournaments in NJPW history
• More legitimacy to Liger
• Hayabusa's first and last match with NJPW as he decided to be the Ace of FMW which sadly ended his career in later time

Do you agree with the matches i listed and do you have more suggestions ? I feel like i'm missing matches from the 80s or before but it's difficult to pick some of those because i don't have much knowledge of this era apart from the Ric Flair classics, especially the trilogy with Steamboat.

i disagree on that. i'd say its the more modern version of sting. he was already a household name.

besides, i think sting's injury had more to do with the character change.
